Lately, I've been obsessing over why, when we chop down a tree, every block counts, including its foliage. To me, this makes axes incredibly weak in durability (considering their frequent use in crafting).
I initially wanted to make it necessary to chop only the bottom tier to fell a tree, but another thought occurred to me: if we already have saws (or add a new type of saw, like a two-handed saw, the blade is also forged + two sticks), it would break the tree immediately from the bottom block, counting only that block, but it would be much slower and would consume more hunger while cutting, for balance?
Getting off topic, also i want new culture - potato
I think she would be nice food for winter or early game - can easily cooked in campfire and keeps well without basement
