  1. Glad you got it working but just in case you're not aware, take care when using the AUR for now (to the best of my knowledge the VS package is safe).
  2. You could try changing line 8 to true, that'll open a terminal on launch and hopefully provide some useful information.
  3. Have you tried not enclosing the path in quotes and escaping the space instead? Like so: /home/jay/Games/Vintage\ Story Nothing else stands out to me. Aside from the path your .desktop is identical to mine.
  4. A thrash of shiver sounds appropriate.
  5. Something I've always wanted to do with a hot spring is make it an outdoor bath for an accompanying traditional Japanese inn, but I've never found a location that called to me (practically every hot spring I've ever found has been in truly uninspiring flatland D:). If you like the sound of that, some more specific terms that may help to find inspiration are "onsen" (hot spring), "ryokan" (traditional Japanese inn) and "rotenburo" (outdoors/open-air bath). Japan has a ton of onsen baths, some public, some private, and many offer truly stunning mountainside views. Granted, you can't actually use it as a bath in VS (...not for very long at least) but there are mods for that.
  6. For all the NVIDIA horror stories I've heard I've surprisingly had very few issues in the past ten years. The worst I've had to deal with was when NVIDIA's drivers started defaulting to the open-source module. My GPU is just old enough that it's not supported by the open-source driver so a driver update a year or so ago rendered a lot of my games unplayable until I figured out what the issue was. Fortunately the closed-source module is still available (for now, at least...) via the cuda-drivers package. That said, I'll definitely be going with AMD when if I upgrade my hardware. LTSC isn't a viable option long-term, at least for those who can't/won't switch to 11. Win 10 LTSC stops getting security updates in 11 months iirc.
