search Beginner-Friendly Multiplayer Servers?
Neininch replied to HammieSlice's topic in Multiplayer
assuming you have 32gb ram (mods = rather a lot of ram) we're super beginner friendly IMO because - increased resource spawn all over the world - starter area with some beginner powered things to use until you get enough to build your own (not including steel / beehive kiln) - increased bag size so you're not immediately bagged into space starvation - beef starter kit, which seems awesome but if you don't be generally mindful of it, it'll get used up and back to the stone age anyway - start area doesn't have harsh winters - increased hp / crop growth, decreased spoil rate for food edit: plus there are cities to join with others and they can help supply things while you get on your feet no mods required i guess it all comes with the login pve overall can see more details here: https://vsserverlist.com/servers/0050b8cb-5c67-4189-8a4c-419350a86da5 -
HostHavoc is cheap, but you get what you pay for. If I'm ever on a server and start seeing a lot of broken rock that leaves floating spinning stones in the air, I immediately check if it's hosted on host havoc - and it often is. GPortal if it's a non serious server, but I've had 4 IP changes in just a couple months so far and for trying to build a server with multiple active players, that's a horrible thing. I've had good luck with Bisect hosting. I wish I had paid for a year with them instead of gportal. Citadel was worth mentioning too. edit2: I should also mention, I did go with gportal because it handled 180 mods like a champ. to be fair when it is running, it does run rather well. I just wish they weren't so casual about moving the server around different hardware.

Superchill Go-Time v2 [West Coast U.S. - Casual - No Wipe]

Any bans on server are posted on a new page on the website. Seems to be required after we banned someone today and they ran around the internet attempting negative reviews in retaliation. https://suchgotime.com/bans.html -

GPortal moved us AGAIN. So I set up PLAY.SUCHGOTIME.COM to log in with instead of IP address. News from the server: still surprisingly stable - there's a casino being built. More stores are starting to be built around spawn beyond that. -
We're not recently started but that's not why we exist - we're a long life server, help if you want it, usually people on to talk to and play with - elevated stack size, bag size, ore generation, a ton of mods (don't be intimidated by the number, it's surprisingly stable) and we're still growing. Lot of new shops planned to be built around spawn area. Not wiping/resetting server until next year. can log in to look around on play.suchgotime.com (put that in place of server IP, no port needed) other resources at suchgotime.com hope you find a server you have fun on!

I need to change my server IP and it's not updating automatically - when I try to do it in the web interface on vsservers, it errors and doesn't work. I figured it would update automatically but it is not https://vsserverlist.com/servers/0050b8cb-5c67-4189-8a4c-419350a86da5

On top of the Adventurer's Guild where you can come offer to help others in the server, or seek help from others - BamnMcNoice built a gun shop and has stock to sell or trade for. -

BloodmasterIV built an adventurer's guild - their nation of Ezenia has created their own currency, printed their own coins, and has a for-hire form set up on their bulletin board. They have faith in the server that it will attract more players, so I am trying to continue spreading the word. Through commentary from the players on the server, we also expanded what is available in the public workshop. Banner workbench, jewelcrafting machines, clothmaking tools. Currently on year 3, planning on minimally thriving through year 100 and more. Hearing this point, the nation of SacredRiver explained they might start projects they've just been talking about involving giant bridges, sprawling path networks, and other things I already forgot, sorry bro. May or may not have been drinking on that discord convo. The amount of work in their mountain (or i think more accurately, mountain range) is impressive. Loving the people we have so far on the server, and looking forward to meeting more. -
Did everyone's server votes get reset?

We recently upped the server from 8 to 16 slots and will continue to increase it as people fill up the nodes. The server is being paid out a year at each upgrade - for a server that's here for the long haul. We're on July in Year 2, which is very young considering the server is planned to go well past year 100. This isn't a rush content server and wipe to redo, this is a place for community to call home and have plenty of time to build a rich world. -
Middleheim Season 2 | 1.22.2 | Fantasy RP Civ | Launching 30/05
Neininch replied to MrBaldyLocks's topic in Multiplayer
Brother told me about the schematic download announcement, but when I rejoin I don't see the ticket anymore and the 3/3 doesn't complete after reading the rules Good to see 2nd season is coming along this far Edit: brother said he filled out an application to see channels again so i fiddled around and saw i could unhide the apply and non-member chat channels and got it -

City Outposts are starting to get placed - paths are made along the flat areas to easily connect spots for dozens more outposts to run to and from spawn area. The idea being, people set up their bases out in the world, use Can Cities to secure it and have a summon point to teleport to their cities. Set up an outpost around spawn, with a summon plot, so they can go to and from spawn for trade, helping new people, etc. Mail mod seems to be working. Some 1.22 mod kink woes, but overall it's been rather stable. -
i don't think it's steam punk but check out Middleheim. they're dead right now but starting a new season in a week or two. sounds rather exactly what you're looking for. last i knew they even had a trans admin on staff https://vsserverlist.com/servers/f41aa001-872b-4ce5-9642-6e9c883983b4

This is a great tool. I'm sure this is one of many ways you intended for it to be used but - adding this to my server adverts. Seeing the heat map for when people play the most, that's really great. Great job! And an up to date mod list I don't have to touch, 10/10
