  1. All good! I knew I estimated the first time, but I was curious on actually how long it took, and writing it all down helped It gets crazy when you look at how long your days are ingame and then figure out how many full IRL days it is. Around 50! So if you play solo, good luck getting that. Even ramping up the base ale production to try and get the same amount of vintage whiskey without aging the ale it's still 10 ingame years! The nice thing is that time isn't affected by longer months! But that's why I was looking for a mod that has shelving that speeds up the curing time, Food Shelves has barrel racks that slow it down but nothing to speed it up.
  2. Not accounting for growth time, and trying to waste as little material as possible. 9 days in a month, 9x12=108 days per year. It takes 14 days to turn 50 flour into 10L of ale. Ale takes 140 days before it starts to cure, then it takes another 1008 hours (42 days) before turning into Strong Ale. Strong Ale takes 280 days before it starts curing then 2016 hours (84 days) to cure into Fine Ale. So from Ale to Fine Ale: 14 + 140 + 280 + 42 + 84 = 560/108 = 5.1 years Whiskey takes 280 days to start curing then 2016 hours (84 day) to cure into Aged Whiskey. Aged Whiskey Takes 560 days to start curing then 4032 hours (168 days) to cure into Vintage Whiskey. Whiskey to Vintage Whiskey: 280 + 560 + 84 + 168 = 1092/108 = 10.11 years 560+1092 = 1652 days / 108 = 15.29 years. 10L of Ale only turns into 0.5L of whiskey. 10L of Fine Ale distills into 2L of Whiskey Turns out my math wasn't that far off.
  3. Not that I've seen. I was looking for anything that would speed up that process too, like a modded container that increases curing speed but haven't had much luck. Going from Ale -> Vintage Whiskey takes a bit too long, especially if you are letting your ale cure all the way so distilling gives the most whiskey. Waiting 140 days just so for it to take another 42 days (without anything interrupting or slowing the process), and that is just from Ale to Stong Ale! I think my initial assessment of 1540 in-game days is way off, I didn't take into account the time it takes to cure AFTER the days until it starts to cure passes. Something that uses temporal gears to speed the curing process would be a good lore-friendly way of doing it, like an aging barrel hooked up to a temporal gear somehow. I thought part baked and a cauldron with water in it is how you make meat broth.
