  1. If I can ever reset my password, it keeps timing out when I try, my name is SparkleKitti. Really it's the same everywhere just sometimes with a space. Except YouTube. I got locked out of my account and had to add pdx at the end to the new account

    I do feel like that something akin to the quest journal would eventually be a boon, but perhaps more vaguely presented than Minecraft's. Even if parts of the quest journal were unlocked bit at a time, encouraging you to preform a strange task without actually requiring it. If you don't mind the concept spitball:

    "You have an urge to snap twigs," so you craft a branch into 3 twigs.
    "You have an urge to scribble," So you cook twig into charcoal nibs, and a nib can be used once on a stoney wall to view some very simple Stone Age tasks that can be done without having to open the general crafting guide and being overwelmed.

    Later on when the tech for leather and paper is available, "You have an urge to write," so craft a journal for that age that you instead carry with you.

    I'd personally prefer a different approach than "conquest". I love story, which I understand why there won't be a huge amount, and solving puzzles/mysteries.

    I really like your ideas, only I'd want one thing to be tweaked from what you said. Instead of random urges out of nowhere, I'd like to see more in world interaction to trigger them. Finding a book, or item, triggers the players' curiosity. One of my biggest disappointments in gaming is when you find stuff in world, mainly books, that do not encourage some activity in the world.

    I'm really not sure what the journal in the game is for if it's not for future planned quest-like content. I really hope so.

I think it might be a cool (likely far future) feature to have an invisible rating on yourself that tracks how many animals you've killed and meat you've eaten (like they can sense the blood) that the animals can sense. They're behavior would then have a modifier based on that rating  that would adjust how they respond to you. Eat a lot of meat? Animals are more likely to attack or flee. Vegetarian? Animals will let you feed them. Domesticated animals would likely be set differently I imagine.

    I'm just imagining a "friend of the forest" or druid type character

  4. It's really annoying as things are in 1.12.5 when they run off while still fighting you. I've even thrown rocks at mobs to try to get their attention and they still just wonder for a while.

    I've also been attacked by ewes when I haven't done anything to any animals in the area. Not sure if that's how they are meant to be or not.

    Wouldn't it make more sense to just keep it till you play again? You'll still have to rebuy it and likely you'll pay more for it later.

  7. So I'm not sure if this is a bug or intended but, I noticed that when I killed a few drifters, a few minutes later they vanished. Also, I've yet to find anything from their bodies. I've probably killed 50 so far. A streamer I watch has started p[laying and it seems he killed well over 100 and still no gear. Again, maybe that's how it's meant to be, idk.

    One other thing I've seen is a drifter literally coming out of the wall in my base. If this is not a bug, I'd suggest them leaving a hole where they came in from.

    Isn't it white? Unless you're in a snowy area that should bee contrasting with everything. Not sure how difficult the coding would be but maybe an icon that changes to the contrast color of wherever it is on the map would help.

  10. Why do the bones not despawn once it's been looted? It seems to me that if you have a bunch of bones laying on the ground you should be able to get bones from it still. Otherwise it seems to make more sense for thee bones to go away.

  11. I've noticed a few things that may be bugs related to food and eating.

    • Some times food being stored in a vessel will say it as 4 days left, then the next day it's partially spoiled. 
    • Some times eating food from a bowl, the bowl will go back to inventory with food still in it.
    • There's been a couple times so far when my hunger meter seems to be staying stationary, even while sleeping.

    The concept that I've always loved for this would be finding in-game items that give you "lore" that unlocks recipes in an NEI like system. 

    What I like to imagine when playing games/modpacks like this where you start with only stone age technology and you have to work your way into more futuristic tech is that you are the last (that you know of) person in a world long since destroyed and so all technology has been lost. When I first played TFC I wanted to build a starting area at bedrock level where the player(s) wake up from cryogenic sleep to find that much of the shelter has been destroyed and your memory has been lost from being frozen so long. There would be journals that you would find to explain this and a general idea of what happened to the world just before you are teleported to the surface, but everything else you would find through playing. Sadly, the way TFC time worked and my lack of knowledge using command blocks made this not an option for me.

    I can't seem to get it to function at all. It shows as a loaded mod, but when i try "P" nothing happens, and the commands are not recognized. Is there instructions for installing it anywhere?

  15. So far I am finding grains to be useless. They tell me I can grind them into flour, but I cant figure out how. I'm guessing the quern will, but is there anything that'll do it early game? I thought maybe a rock and the grain in the crafting grid. Then thought maybe adding a bowl? But I can't find any information on this.
