I straight up wander the map for like the first month, I dont really have a plan most playthroughs beyond just looking for a cool spot to build then just taking my time till winter hits and I am freezing with no food lol
yeah it wasn't a temporal, its like mid June ingame, was medium activity, the weird thing is when I opened the door I saw the gaggle of Amway sellers coming over the little hill straight in front of my door lol
I went AFK with the game paused to go do some things around the house real fast, when I left there were NO enemy near my place, I came back and opened the door to an apocalyptic event.
Its fairly ugly currently, but used some stuff I found in a cave/ruined room I found on the first day on this new server. LOVE the location though, nice lake in-between some mountains. Will update this as the base comes along during the first year ingame.
I started a new world with large amounts of water in-between land and it is such a unique vibe compared to the normal vintage story playthrough. Started on a smaller island with a large cavern system with ruined rooms and glow worms ( never seen these before ). I highly recommend it
Sitting in front of a screen for extended timeframes can hurt your eyes, take breaks. Similar to working at a computer for a job, gotta get up and move around a little to prevent leg issues too sitting for long periods.
you got mods? if so that might be the issue, when I try to use mods my game crashes, but when creating or joining my world without them it works perfectly fine
Started my first playthrough the other day, the seed I am on around where I am building is like the valley of plenty, sea of red and blue clay, wild spelt, rye, onions, turnips, carrots, flax all within walking distance. Think it's just bad luck sadly.
