  1. Yes, it will rot or be eaten.
  2. The server game clock will stop when you are all logged out in the default settings. As long as your friends have self control and only play together then it will be the same as playing on the a LAN. The server will be up 24/7, but just set a password and no one else can log into it.
  3. Cave generation is still a work in progress. What is there now is a placeholder from what I've gathered.
  4. If you have control over the save game folder, then I highly recommend you just create a single player game the way you want it and copy/paste it into the server save game directory. I run a linux server and I start a single player game on my windows machine and then transfer it over to the save game directory.
  5. In addition to what LadyWYT said you also have to build markers to help you find your way back home since the map won't return you home. Simple packed dirt pillars will suffice with a block on top pointing the way you came from. I also recommend you burn your way to the story location so you can easily spot the path back. I'm glad you decided to play regular at first. I highly recommend learning the game mechanics for jumping into wilderness survival.
  6. I guess that is the thing though. They have to create some type of system that allows people to reasonably be able to feed themselves on a server or get resources for that matter. There is plenty of ore typically so they have that under control for a reasonably populated server, but food is a different story. Seems like it would be an easy fix to change the fishing mechanic for servers so people could fish more without depleating the area.
  7. Might be okay if the map gives you a coastal area, but so m any of my maps are not. Good input though, I don't really consider heavy populated servers since I only play with 1 person on my server.
  8. Well, something is going on with the server because it keeps giving this error over and over. So, I'm going to guess this is a mod problem. I'm sorry I can't tell you exactly what mod it is, but it looks like you are trying to do something and that causes your game to crash. Strangely the sever doesn't crash... it just suspends. I don't run a lot of mods on my server so I've never seen this problem. 4.4.2026 07:26:22 [Server Notification] Client funnyboy tried to place a block but rejected because OnPlaceBlock returns false. 9. Well, wouldn't there be the same problem on a server? If everyone is fishing won't all the local ponds be fished out, just like all the berry bushes are picked?
  10. Go into VS and into the Mod Manager then click on the "Open Mods Folder". You save game files are up a folder or so in windows and I can't imagine it is any different in mac.
  11. I just consider the dungeons as a work in progress. It's a good start and I'm sure some modder will go crazy with it. They make more sense than the random underground ruins in my opinion. Although I guess maybe they should have a translocator in them or at least a broken one.
  12. It wouldn't surprise me if they did it one day way down the road. The flowing water blocks are the first step and riveres are the second which are coming in the next version.
  13. Same, when I play where I can't move water blocks I take over a lake as well.
  14. Probaby need to ask the mod creator.
