  1. You my friend (hope thats okay) are the bees knees. Thanks for always being a big help. I'll run this by Crowe. I LOVE THIS IDEA.
  2. I do agree concerning the health of the elk while in the boat. (this was the edit I forget to address this question.) Yes you can eat the elk after they've fallen and they provide a healthy amount of all goods involved UNLESS they are taken out by drifters as the flavor text suggests they've been defiled by nasty creatures. I didn't get to harvest this guy though as I should have. I was a bit miffed and had to collect my thoughts. Ive been dealing with a lot of stress which I hate to admit has become normal in my life. I just would like something to work right for me and not fight me tooth and nail like a white blood cell hugging a virus. But im ready to eradicate them all. The elk provides more red meat, hides and bones then the bighorn. Oddly ive not found Moose in this play through but plenty of caribou and the elk gives more meat then they do too in my experience. I have a ranch near my base that I attempted to bread my own elk as I found an area that they naturally spawn. I caught one pair and they don't breed like other animals. A real shame. So now im left to trying to catch a young elk. I will note here that female elk (Cows) do not bugle. They mew like a calf. It's actually a comforting sound to be honest. If you ever have an elk bugle within a few feet of you im certain you'll loose continence as their bugle will shake your blood. I know from personal experience. Awe inspiring even. I'll talk to the server curator as we have no admins (ive offered to fill the role as I play multiple hours daily). He has helped out a lot in the past im just tired of crawling to him with elk problems. Ive lost an elk to sync issues, one to unstable soil problems (yes, my elk literally died from underneath me while running across unstable soil). So this time I thought no big deal. I'll patch it up and administer meds and all will be well. Nope. So I guess I'll have to ask him. He just didn't sound to enthused as it all went down. How about leave me alone glitches! FML sheesh! XD

    Dead Elk

There is nothing anyone can do to help in this situation other than the developers fixing a horrible issue with the boats. ( I know its easy to point fingers but after careful consideration Ive failed to recognize any other issue here aside from me being afk which had nothing to do with my elk losing its life when I dismounted the boat effectively dismounting my elk too) Why are you lying down like that Nevaeh? My elk was killed on board while I was hooking a battery charger to my car in real life. (Three minutes around about is all.) No big deal. I can heal it. (Actually im stoked to try cause ive lost a few elk now and didn't realize I could heal them with my honey sulfur bandages.) Wrong. The moment I left the boat, because you cannot shift or control (you can control click BUT the hit boxes for crates and chests on the boat are in the way of targeting the mortally wounded animal) click from the seat of the boat, my elk was now placed on the beach I had deadheaded on and wouldn't you know I could no longer heal him? So yeah, big mad and disconnected to blow some steam so I didn't say or do regrettable things and then after cooling off ive logged to collect my sturdy gear and extra steel tools and sturdy leather saddle bags and on and on and its all gone. All gone. Goodbye Albino beauty. With your creepy eyes. Im aware I could have logged while attending to real life issues. But it would be swell if simple timers for things such as healing our elks couldn't be negated. It's maddening and a deal breaker when this is the third elk ive burned through. IRL Id expect someone to report me for animal cruelty. Anyways my input. Take it or leave it. Thanks for an awesome game. (Can we add the ability to back up servers again too?) (asking for a friend)
  4. I actually had my base copy pasted from the old world on our server when we wiped clean and put far north because of the winters. the new worlds origin was on the equator though I really like the tropics irl I just can't get enough of the snow and blow in the game AND it sure makes Bleu Cheese much easier. XD
  5. Thank you very much. Im still learning these forums and Angeos ways. I will say that this is one of the quickest ways to get an answer too and I thank you for not being condescending.
  6. Ive tried multiple things and every time I download from the client area my Mac is telling me to move the file to the trash because it's damaged.
  7. OH MAN! I didn't consider that! I was just trying to conserve fuel. But I suppose after something sits in the rot and the rust for so long that anything is possible!
  8. I had graphics turned down so low that I couldn't tell that I wasn't igniting the 'aged' forge I had found but was indeed igniting the heavy timber for my greenhouse behind. Steel tools and all to the conflagration ensued. Glad im a quick thinker and just started tearing down my greenhouse. Fire is an intriguing entity even in a video game. P.S. The aged forges do not work.
  9. Every locator is different and each is treated dependent upon its necessity. Some I clean up and facilitate for travel while others I ignore all together. I develop a series of tunnels between translocators that I can ride my elk between because it's a marvelous way to capture and attain any and all resources. Ive dubbed it The Network and it has hubs that lead to different areas about the map. So many endless possibilities. This allows orchards that require freezing and orchards that require temperate climates. I have an apiary that is year round and I harvest the most bountiful harvests from terra preta gardens and my pumpkin patch is quite spectacular too. Far north where my base is I also make bleu cheese in a ruin I discovered while drift mining through quartz for intrinsic metals and I only get it to work during the winter (far north (our server has spawn on the equator)the snow and blow sets in around October and clears out come may and June of the following year). I believe the translocators add easy travel all about the map when diligence provides many locations that a Seraph can chose its destination from. Wonderful uses indeed.
  10. I absolutely love the idea and the numbers. Lets do it!
  11. I do believe that is the case indeed.
  12. Fortune favors the Bold.
  13. Someday. Maybe. Me too.
  14. Does 1 A.D. not count? It was the AI overlook on Google, but still. The tuber has been around for a long long long time.
  15. Sounds fun.

I only play one world and its minimal mods at that but everything you've mentioned is dually noted and I will continue doing my part to iron out the ruffles in this exquisite linen.

Im on the latest version. 1.21.5 or 6 whichever it is. Waiting for the stable 1.22 drop.

    Bugs

Hey thank you. I checked it out. Have the site opened in the toolbar and I'll keep it at the ready. Ive notice in my playing that more problems occur the closer to a stable release. Whatever thats supposed to mean. I just noticed that my computer failed to register this crash report anyways. It occurred directly after opening the game on the taskbar after a forced quit involving no response between my cursor being stuck on the discord server and not being to steer my ship while sailing. Force closed and then it crashed when reopened.

Where do I post reports for crashes and such? I would like to start doing a better part of reporting problems as they arise while I play. Thanks!
  20. Hey alright! An apt place to talk about soy!
  21. I should have been more clear. I have pear clippings and ive succeeded in growing them, however they die off in the winter or do not produce fruit. Im struggling with the lat and long needed to produce lower then 41f during winter and not below 10.5f. Im recollecting these measurements off of my memory so I could be wrong. Millions of peaches. Peaches for free.
  22. Heat damaged harvests produce half product. plus it withers the vines of pumpkins. im still learning about the intricacies involving the pumpkin vines though. Heat damage is related to cold damage. All fruits and vegetables whether tree shrub or plant can take damage from three things being heat, cold, and salt water. maybe there is something else that im missing that ive yet to discover. Somewhere I recall seeing an eight by eight grid is the ideal spacing for fruit trees and I stick to a 10 by 10 grid to have my own means to an end. Avoid planting them on top of each other as in real life this cramming style keeps the trees from their true potential via photosynthesis thru exposure of the limbs and leaves. You can shear your trees back too and keep them so they grow in your vision to facilitate harvesting of fruit and maximum blossom pollination and more. In game pollination only matters when using the GoldenCombs mod with bees. Aside from that, the form of your fruit trees isn't effected or the harvest isn't effected unless youre unable to get to the core of the tree. A way around this is to break the leaves without branches as the fruit ripens and this will mimic irl trimming back. You can Bansi the fruit trees too to your hearts desire and even graft multiple fruit trees onto each other. Just make sure you read the info about the cuttings for specifics. You probably won't succeed grafting a breadfruit onto a pear tree. But miracles do happen. I mean, we woke up after all. Lots to experiment with and figure out what works best for you. Ive messed with the mechanics of the trees a bit by now. So far, the Peach is the elusive enigma in the game for me. Ive made blue cheese, pitch glue (wow), and a number of other things that have just made this game really awesome. Now if I could just manage to keep the hired hands around. I must be hardcore. Or an asshole. XD
  23. Not to showboat but here's the proof buddy. These are all heat damaged too.
