From my perspective it's more about the realism.. yeah i get a lot of flak for that opinion..

I play around with a lot of mod at times.. and one thing got my attention.. The mod load order.. could really use a feature like that.. just thought it was worth mentioning..

Just put a hopper under it to catch the stuff and make that put it into a chest, Nice idea though..

It would be pretty cool if you could place a semi enclosed oven on top of a fire, which could contain a pot for cooking regular meals, and then use the heat from the fire below to heat the oven. That way you could combine cooking oven dishes and soups without having to spend firewood actually heating the oven individually.. Early stage combi oven.bmp
