  1. Background: I would like to settle near an ocean - but have had horrible luck finding any in several games. I finally turned to the /tp command to try and find out whether there's one nearby before investing hours of gameplay... but I don't want random explored spots on my world map. Copying the file in the VintageStoryData/Saves folder to a backup location and replacing it afterwards still left the places I teleported to shown on my map Copying the last-modified file from VintagestoryData/Maps to the backup location and replacing it afterwards... same deal. The map was still revealed in those locations after restoring the backup. So what I'm asking is: where is the "these tiles are explored already" information stored? Can I roll map exploration state back without deleting the file in /Maps entirely and starting over? (which I'll do right now for new-new games so it won't hurt, but isn't a good option for older saves) ... and as secondary question: when I deleted the map file and loaded the game, the map was unexplored (as expected). When saving, a new map file was created (as expected). When I deleted the new map file and restored both savefile and map file from before... the map was still unexplored in the save. Is "map file X belongs to savegame Y" stored separately somewhere, and the game is now looking for the new one?
  2. If you saw the bone in the recipe of the ingame manual, note that when different ingredients are possible to make the same item the manual flashes through the variations. So for the flint axe, it would have shown you "bone plus flint axe head" - but keep watching, it will flash to "stick plus flint axe head" soon.
  3. I've been wondering about digging pit traps for wolves and baiting them in, but don't know enough about how their behaviour works. I hope someone here can help me. The basic idea would be - to dig a deep enough pit (can wolves jump? how high? can they climb ladders? can they jump to ladders not starting at ground level?) - to bait the pit with a chicken (can I place the chicken on a block above the middle of the pit? Would wolves try to path to it and fall in, or see it as not path-able and ignore it? How would I keep the chicken from falling down - would fences around the chicken prevent wolves from trying to path to it?) and then to come by with bow and arrows (or stone spears). Bonus question: how close do I have to be to activate the wolves so they start hunting?
