these but I had to unable the new animal mods since it was making my game unplayable performance wise.I didnt searched much to be honest,just scrolled and chose what looked interesting to install and some of them was from my older save that I have kept.I was kind of hoping all this side stuff would help me to do other stuff then just focusing on the speedrunning metal tiers.Idk how much this list could be improved or how well integrated to game or whatever.I just want to feel a flow and let myself go from need to reach arbitary deadlines.I do wish to ride a dragon tho.Probably it will push me to explore a lot.Well I kind a need to regardless to find a copper cuz I made it very rare to spawn just to delay my entrance to metal age.

TLDR:So this long ass post is about asking for recommendations. I am not used to using forums.When I first met with the internet mass social media was already a thing.Other then using it on my relatives keyboard phone to explore glorious world wide web I would use it to play facebook games in my neighboors computer.And when I had my own internet it was so limited,I would only use it to watch u tube gameplay vids.Wifi came to my life late and I kind of missed the forum era.I remember I have seen them in my computer class in middle school but it stayed abstract since I didnt had a wifi back then.So it was never a habit for me to use them.I guess I did came across to them time to time,when I had to look something up but never actually made an account in any of them. My first use of a forum probably would be steam.Using discussions segment to get help.It does feel amazing,having a dedicated commuinity talking,helping other people and u dont need to shout to void to find something.Tho steam as big as it is it brings a lot of toxic people too but that unrelated to this topic.Now that I have been using mainstream social media for over a decade I kind of want to put a distance between me and them.Tech is,well I dont know how much politics are tolerated here but it is and progressively becoming a manipulation device for people in the higher ups.Even ignoring that having to cry to a gut wrenching story and a second later laguhing my ass of couldnt be healthy. I have been using here for a short while and asked myself why not find more forums to join in.So this long ass post is about asking for recommendations.

yeah I sort a abonded my first save,downloaded bunch more mods and started fresh.Tho idk if it will stick.

surf mod db and add any of them looks slightly interesting,minus mob mods if ur pc is low end. Make surface copper so rare that u finding it would be considered a miracle and just struggle in a island making ur way trough with nothing but stone tools.Hopig u will struck copper some day and just keep panning.

currently 76.Tho some r disabled.I made a mistake and added too many creature mods I think and game was getting stuck for a minute sometimes.So I uninstalled spawning creature mods and it seemed to fix it.I wished to have a more lively wild life but it didnt worked out sadly.

yeah I guess I got progressed too fast and burnt out.I think I am going to start a new save and artificially slow myself down

I think u wrote a similiar reply to me before,it was just not this detailed.I wasnt convinced then I am not convinced now.I still think it is too easy too rich higher tier metals,like in my first game I reached iron before winter for example.And needing higher tier equipment because some content requires them yes but I dont think there is enough content to feel a big thing for me is what I am saying.I mean I didnt 100% the game as u have read above but I didnt see anything that made me excited for higher tier equipment other then having a solid armor.+how do u do that multiple quoting ?

yeah I think thats the way to go tbh.Gamifying the game,imposing challange to urself.

I did see them in gameplay vids,the archives.It looked a one off and a pretty small mission.I havent tried it myself yet.Regardless it is not my main issue with the tier progression.

Compared to other block game this games progression is way too slow and I needed to adjust to that,but even then once u make a copper it feels like a speed train.As current vs world isnt feels lived in,atleast to me.Maybe that is the point or at least thats what people want but to me after a point I feel like there isnt anything to do but maybe make prettier buildings.While it is normal to focus on cosmetics more when there isnt much else to done it felt to early for me.We do not have other dimensions or long questlines.Its in its core a sandbox game and a one that emphasis on being more realistic. I think increasing tool durability to 400 percent and lowering copper spawn from default itself will create a more realistic progression just by adjusting player settings.So I am planning to do that for my next save.Still tho it doesnt change the fact that it would be still a fast progression to reach iron or steel for that matte once u make copper tools.Prospecting pick is one of the accomplices of that.Without it u can just mine mindlessly and do not reach a vein for months maybe,and with it u can find iron veins that will take u process for months on end. Tbh I do not know what I want either.This is a videogame and it obviously cannot take centuries to change technology tiers.I like to idea to reaching first metal tools should be a challange,for example I do not think it wouldnt be easy to just stumble upon a pure copper bits irl so they should be rare and maybe even not pure.So player may need to do panning endlessly to make a first copper tool.But then it will make gameplay a drag,just panning waiting for a lucky draw to get that sweet bit for maybe hours sounds ridicilous.Developers chose a sweet spot they were satisfied with that doesnt make a game a second job but I think it needs more,way more love.Yeah bronz,iron and steel exists but do we realy need them ? I think that need shouldnt be durability as much as is right now,as in real life tools doesnt break that easily.As even some of them will become relics to be found centuries later.I dont know how but I would like to see other incentives to progress to further tiers without making lower ones obselete.

I realy would like to see a more realistic temprature system where blocks and way u set them matters.There is real life fridges with no electricity or cooling solutions for a house again without electricity.They wont work as in the current game and its barely there with crops,u taking damage in cold,rooms being warmer and cellars.Maybe its not on their vision idk but I would like to see a mod for this.

I like isekais the same way I like sandbox survival games. I can experience the fantasy of having complete autonomy over my life. Right from get go you have a land,and there is no limit to where you can settle.You can make your house in a way you want and you dont need to keep paying a fee to exist in it.You get the plant food,harvest and feed on it.Even tho it has hardships they are managable with efforts, to a degree you do not have to worry about them after a while.I dont know,even not having to make a fee to exist is big thing on its own.Not the mention ability to do what u want,how u want with ur own time schedule because there is not a constant fear incentive.Have you also realized similiar reasons you enjoy this/+type of games ?

I doubt its a monster noise,since I watched some gameplay before playing myself and do not remember this noise from any monsters.I dont know whats the deal.Maybe my player character is just cursed idk.I dont remember every instane of this noise happening but I write it when I was at the basement blacksmitthing.So idk maybe its indeed monsters under my house.

just disabled the mod and it didnt worked.That noise is still there.I am in a better mood so I am not as much scared but I do not get why its a thing.Maybe its my own characters voice as echo said and which I wish I could disable it.

I have two animal mods,one is saber other is manatee.One is a sea creature so I assume its not even exist in my save yet.Other one,that maybe the cat but I only saw a predator cat once and never before.I dont get why it has to meow where nothing exist. For the stability stuff,its off.It never looked appealing to me so I just disabled it before starting my save.Those exhaling nosies are not normal.Maybe its the side effect of the saber mod idk.I do not know why would that be the case but I do not have any other mod that has a creature that will make that noise.I mean there is a villager mod but they r nowhere near my house and that noise isnt sounds entirely human.If I disable saber mod I assume it will be fine,as in my save would stay intact since it doesnt change anything but add a mob to the game right ?

I think they should have been only stronger and faster not a super big gap of durability.Its a game and game needs balancing and fun so there has to be decisions that arent seems make sense on a individual case I am not arguing against that.Still it feels pushy,more pushy then I would like tbh.And for the durability change,there is a setting without command but its upto 200 percent I think.A slider already exists and devs are saying they support different playstyles so I think that slider can get a tuning.And if they worry so much abt the balance they can just add warnings abt how that decision will effect the game and they sort of do that already too but not in detail.

Thats sounds like a nightmare.My biggest issue with low tier equipment is they brake super easily and it is realy annoying.If their durability was like irl (I assume) much much higher then I wouldnt have rushed and got into iron before my first winter in my first ever playtrough.Even iron ones breake super fast.I made a outside charcoal pit 5x5x5 and it ate away my iron axes like candy to fill it up.

I do not like the sound work of this game.I like some of the music but sometimes it just randomly tunes into action ones where nothing realy happens.There are animal noises comes around to set the mood but those animals no where near where I am.I have been hearing a cat noise ingame for weeks and couldnt spot it (this maybe a mod idk,later started to hear a big predator cat growl and still nowhere near I could spot) but worse of it all is breathing noise.I do not get it.Why thats a thing but it makes me scared shitless.Especially at night,and especially both ingame and irl at night.I do not have any living thing inside my house.Closest animal is 60 block (?) something away chickens.The breathing noise I am hearing is not contunuious but its a big exhale from the nose,almost like a horses.I keep hearing it at the back of my neck and genuienly makes me paranoid.And no there is no drifters roaming around.I have a mod that doesnt let them spawn on the surface without rifts even in no light and my house is pretty small so I would find one if there was one. Is there a way to solve this,mute this etc cuz I cant play it like this.

How does mod updates work ? We need to manually download a patch for the game to update , does that mean also I need to go ahead and update every mod I have one by one and reinstall it ?

Gotta start landscaping.There is settlements irl which are based upon steeps.You can half create a platform for each building,embed them to mountain or just carve a good amount of cavity to the mountain side. Now personally I havent had this issue cuz this is my first time playing. I just settled in the first plains I saw and didnt even think I would be invested in that save but I am 30+ hrs now so no turning back.For my second time I am planning to use plains and valleys (?) mod.Its worldgen seems pretty and might be what u r looking for.

I am not familiar with the world of cyber security or hacking so most things doesnt make sense to me.Like why would bots appear here.There is a notice abt how forums r spammed and only customers are able to post for the time being.I do not think its the same bots who want u to click to link in their bio for OF or job opportuinity.So is someone just mad at this game or why would they be a concern for this website. Dont get me wrong vs has a sizeable following but I wouldnt think it was big enough for someone to target it.
