thanks for the input, thats just unfortunate. What use is anthracite beyond using for a crucible? like does it even last longer in a forge for ingots or is it literally just in a fire? like at that point I might start using it for cooking.

Like does the mechanics of the forge work off of how long its been burning for, or directly off of how much coal is consumed? Like if I use anthracite to fuel the furnace, would I use less bits of coal compared to brown coal because it burns longer, or would it technically take longer for the steel to finish if I used anthracite?
