Probably will be eventually.  I think the only reason you can't make it right now is that you can't cast iron or steel, and there's no way to get lamellae aside from casting them currently.   It's likely a bit low priority, since lamellar is intended as an early-game metal armor, before you have leather or linen in quantity.  And currently in most cases, by the time you have iron there's a good chance you have leather and linen.   That situation may change a bit once crops take a realistic amount of time to grow - flax won't be so quick to obtain then.

Does eating honey still heal?   We have poultices for that now, which I'd imagine are much more efficient.

I don't know of any plans to change it.   But, nor do I know that it's specifically desired that it not be possible.  Might just be something that's not been addressed to this point.  It'd be a very low priority item, if it were to happen.

A lot depends on exactly which drifters you're getting.  It think the drop rate on regular ole surface drifters is like 1 in 80 or something.   Nightmare have a far better drop rate.

They likely were already there, or the person grew a tree and removed the logs (the saw allows you to remove individual logs without 'felling' the whole thing).  That or they used a mod.  There's no vanilla way to obtain leafy blocks.

Ya the traders change inventory over time; this is intended and a feature.   I forget the precise nature of how it works, but iirc every so many days every item has a small chance to be switched out for a different item.  So you might come back and find no items have changed, or all (though that would be statistically hiiiiighly unlikely).  I forget if there is a chance for sold out/puchased out items to be restocked, or if they can only switch out for new...

As far as trees, it is already the case that leaf blocks will randomly drop saplings sometimes, when you break them.  just plant the saplings, and several days later, you'll have a tree.   You cannot however grow the very largest oaks, pines, and kapoks (the 2x2 trunk ones).  Those are world-gen only.

There is a plan in place for how water wheels will work.  However, it would ideally be part of a large world-gen update, so it may be awhile yet. 

If you're on a windows machine, they'll just be in your pictures folder, under a vintage story subfolder.

You tried right clicking on it?  Maybe with an empty hand?

There are plans, eventually, to have a game mode that eschews all story elements.  Basically leaving you with just 'real world' stuff.  It won't necessarily be as well balanced in terms of progression and gameplay (I mean how much machinery do you need to take on bears, really?).  But it will hopefully be an option, down the line.

To best of my knowledge, it does not, yet.

Did you try olivine?  afaik olivine is what you're supposed to use, not peridotite stone.

Yes, just crouch and right click, just like placing ceramics and so forth.  Won't work with flint, but works with all other general stones afaik.  And yes this is exactly how it was used before it was patched out - carry around a bunch of stones and place them conveniently for easy prospecting.

The fact you can wear 4 backpacks is just one of those minor immersion things that hasn't been addressed yet, like being able to handle white hot metal with your hands.   Eventually you'll only be able to wear 1 'backpack'.

Fun fact: it used to actually be the case that you could prospect loose stones.  That was a bug though, and was fixed.  So given that it was already that way at one time and fixed to not be that way, I don't think it'll go back.

more specifically, your temporal stability is low.  That gear in the middel of your HUD indicates your temporal stability level.   There is an entry in the player handbook (H key) that explains in more detail.

Unfortunately I can't really help with mods, but just wanted to pop in and suggest that if you guys aren't on discord, you might want to join up.  There's a couple modding channels, and generally just more people on discord.  You might get some help faster.  If nothing else, lots of people say our discord is the friendliest they've seen.
