that's a completely valid take. ik someone else here found mine distracting, but given how silly and flashy it is in comparison to the page color I really don't blame them LOL I don't mind the grouch! I asked for opinions on forum signatures, I got them. can't chew then don't order I guess. also, don't feel old, just feel wise bestie. ughh yeowch. not a big loss I suppose, could be worse really.

this sentence is singlehandedly the most accurate thing I have ever read about both games. I'm no VS expert, but I've been a java enjoyer since I was 12 (so 10 years) and playing VS is not the same ballpark in the slightest. I guess the best comparison aside the apples and oranges is the "car part" discussion: how many parts of a car can you change until it's not the same car as it was when you started? yeah, VS started as a change to vanilla MC. had some changes, focused on survival rather than being a sandbox. but that was years ago now: look how far it's come. both games are great, even if VS isn't even a quarter of the way done yet. each has their perks, each has their flaws, and there's nothing wrong with OP wanting a refund. but I do like this interpretation of both games, and I hope VS gets popular enough to have a stronger modding community.

not a bear expert, but I wholeheartedly agree with this. I live in a really northern state in the US, we get stuff like moose on occasion and bears aren't all that rare compared to other parts of the US. but most of the bears you meet IRL are not nearly as ravenous as in this game unless you look especially tasty and the bear is especially desperate. that can also be said for any carnivorous animal or any creature with youngins nearby, though. the fences and stuff? fairly accurate, those things have a scary amount of mobility and are expert climbers. but bears themselves? the iconic phrase of "if it's brown, lie down. if it's black, fight back. if it's white, say goodnight" is only really accurate for polar bears since the artic is, well, a literal desert wasteland. or accurate in general if, again, the bear is desperate or has young nearby. It's not a huge gripe of mine, but I am glad someone pointed it out, speak your truth, twin. addendum: the livestock thing is a somewhat similar situation. some bears will tear through a barn, but it's not really common and not every barn gets decimated. the ai for bears does feel a bit excessive for a realistic game if I am being honest. although, like Perlin said, this is technically a different time from our real world, so this can all really be taken with a grain of salt im ngl.

I noticed not many people use signatures on the forums here. somewhat sad, seeing as there's even a setting to toggle them if you don't wanna see them. does anyone here have an exceptionally cool/silly signature they wanna share, or have any exceptionally cool/silly signatures from other people they wanna give attention to? I'm kind of a sucker for formatting in places like these, please let me see how creative some of y'all can get!!

ohg my god are there blueberries in this game? if they bump my saturation say less! I'm not a huge fan of blueberries irl but they are such a pretty berry and do kinda slap when baked in stuff like porridge or desserts.
