  1. yes i tried doing it that way at first but i got an error. after i installed .NET it worked for me, v confusing
  2. Hiii I recently got the game running on the latest version of Linux Mint Cin and since it was a little complicated i thought i'd share how i did it in case anyone else is confused. (im still a bit confused) flatpac is required but is already installed by default onto linux mint but if you're using something different you may need to install manually (i can't be sure this will work on other distros) first of course buy the game and make your account so you can log in once everything is installed (if not already) then i installed .NET the command I used: "wget https://dot.net/v1/dotnet-install.sh -O dotnet-install.sh" this installs the core runtime for general web app uses as well as SDK then i ran the install for vintage story: "flatpak --user install https://flatpak.vintagestory.at/VintageStory.flatpakref" it will ask for permissions (yes/no) then wait for it to install it should only take a couple minutes to run VS after you've installed: "flatpak run at.vintagestory.VintageStory" then you can log in and play! I use this command to run it every time I play as I can't figure out how to make a shortcut but the command isnt tedious to me. Everything saves and it remembers you're logged in. If anyone knows how to make a shortcut or launch it in a more straightforward way i'd love to know but i haven't run into issues don't know if this is relevant but i've single booted (linux is my only operating system on this pc) i don't know if double booted or VM would be a different process i'm not very tech savy but the wiki guide wasn't working for me and i came up with this after some troubleshooting. this was just the steps i went through, hope this works for you but if it doesn't I wouldn't know where to start in helping out. Of course always be cautious about running random commands you find on the internet! p.s if i missed something here or if anyone else is more knowledgeable about this than me tips are very much appreciated, i've only been using linux for a bit (it's so good thooo) i believe these were the only commands i ran to get it installed but i could be wrong. if you run into problems you may have to install a specific version of .NET (7,8,9,10 etc) but knowing why is a bit beyond my skills
