  1. Finding flint isn't the problem, emptying out an inventory space is the problem. I don't want certain rocks, so I try to turn them into tools, biut I can't so I end up just dropping them on the ground. Its not an issue in terms of survival, just a minor annoyance.
  2. No, if I have say, an andesite stone and a piece of flint, I can ctrl+click the flint onto the ground and knap it with the andesite, but if I ctrl+click the andesite, it will go on the ground in storage mode. If I click it with another andesite it will start knapping, but if I click it with the flint or another type of rock, it just sits there.
  3. I think that if more progression were added to cooking in the game as a whole, we could find more uses for a mechanic like you're talking about. I think Valheim,, with its health and stamina being food-based progression, or The Long Dark, with its new foods adding things like healing or skill buffs could be good. Or we could look at something like the feast mechanic in Valheim, where you put a lot of work in to make one big meal that can be placed and act as a communal meal and might have a longer satiation-free period. These meals could use something that only can be obtained through domestication, validating that effort.
  4. I keep finding myself annoyed that when you try to knap anything other than flint, you can only knap with the same type of rock. When I'm low on inventory and trying to replace tools, being left with one rock each of multiple types means I just cant do anything with them, making them useless. Is this an intentional feature for some reason, or is it something I should put a suggestion to the devs to change?
