Simple Server Hosting (8+ slots)

J'adore le jeu dommage que l'on ne puise ajouter les mods directement avec le panneau alors je pense que je vais Herberger mon serveur sur un autre site j'espère Revenir ici quand vous aurez modifié car je pense que vous perdez beaucoup de clients . C'est un super jeu . Sinon continuer  comme sa toute votre équipe.       

No North American servers. How hard is it to do this by now.....

I find it good to have made servers available to play with these friends simply the only problem I find is that adding mods is very difficult or impossible even though it is one of the main assets of this game except that the server works very well

day 1 worked, day 2 an existing connection was unexpectedly closed by remote host. going to kms bc of this, but fr i am close plz fix

Been playing on this with a friend for a few days now. I live in the western USA and they are in the Eastern USA. We have very little problems with lag, although it is there and can sometimes get bad, we haven't had any game breaking issues and overall are having a great time. My internet is gigabit speeds and theirs is 500mbs, so the connections are kind of different but we have little issues actually playing. The UI for the server in the main menu is nice and easy to understand, and you can customize your world the same way you would for a single player world. I highly recommend using this if you are looking for a fun vanilla experience with friends.

Works like a charm and can't be easier to setup.
We split the price between the players of our group so it is very affordable this way !

Pros:

Easy to set up and fast to load in

Cons:

No mod availabilty

Cant access server files I tried to wipe my character due to the amount of prospecting pings on the map, all it did was wipe my character and left all the the waypoints on the map, that has lead to me being locked out as admin on the own server I paid to rent. I have no way to access the serverconfig.json and add a simple "/op [playername] that would simply clear up this mess, I can't roll back the server too cause I have no access to the back up saves too.

I recommend other server providers that allow more access from the server owners side, I simply don't have the same control as other sites. This is a huge let down cause I look at loosing 2 weeks of progression between the players on the server and myself,  the players simply left the sever when this happened.

• No US servers.
• No mod support.
• Server not responding.

1. Great to start and learn the basics, even with a big group.
2. its fuckin 10$ in european monies. that aint bad. 
3. I bought like 5 copies of the game itself and we're all still playing since I made my account

Overall really great had no issues with at times 4 players with all being in europe but 2000Km distance between us and had no desync issues or any other connectivity related problems. Extremely easy setup. Nice integration into the game.

Really Good and rather inexpensive for someone who has a job and even less of an issues if you split the cost with the other friends you play with and the performance and overall experience you get for the money is worth it.

Only downside is lack of mod support. Adding mods is not that hard just takes a while. An integration maybe with the modding community for the game would be AMAZING something like an add to server button. I'm sure its not that simple but it would be GREAT.

However, I wish it was possible to upload a world directly.

When we don't play for a while, a few months, it'd be nice to be able to download and then reupload this same world later, so I don't have to pay for unused playtime.

Except that everything is good, no issues.

have ultra wide screen and cant even save server hosting settings. everything is way off screen so cant adjust settings properly

You sell servers for 30 days but paypal payment is monthly so there is a time when server is down before next pay come from paypal subscription

Pros:

• Fast and easy setup
• Cheap
• Good amount of slots for the price
• Minimal lag (in my experience)

Cons:

• No mod support
• Exclusively EU hosted servers, so some may experience heavy lag

Overall it's a very good experience, though it would be nice if the service was expanded to include servers hosted in other areas outside the EU, as well as having mod support.

Pretty simple, Pretty good. 

Why does your time tick down when the server is not running? It literally costs you nothing to pause the timer when the servers are not running. Also, why do you not support mods?

Overall, I am happy with my experience. As an Australian, there is some desync, lag, and general connectivity issues, but that was mostly expected. The server was up and running as quickly as advertised, which was appreciated. Most of these issues are likely due to my location, and others may not experience them to the same extent.

Mod support would be a great addition in the future. Other quality of life features would also help, such as a server console for the host and a clear player status showing how many players are currently online.

I have experienced item desync issues where items occasionally duplicate, disappear, or reappear, especially when moving items quickly. I suspect this is related to latency. I also lost all items once on death after a fight involving a wolf, where we killed each other, though this only happened a single time. On one occasion, I crafted and equipped a full set of clothing, only for it to be reverted moments later, with the clothing unequipped and the materials returned to the chest. I also usually need to restart the server or rejoin at least once per play session due to instability. This helps temporarily but does interrupt longer sessions.

This is minor, but it would be nice if the start button were greyed out while the server is running. I have accidentally clicked it when trying to join and ended up restarting the server on my friends.

One last thing, I was disappointed with how fixed the server world rules were once the world was created. I expected settings that do not affect world generation to remain adjustable, such as spawn radius, grace timers, death penalties, and item timers. Having more control here would give the server host greater flexibility. Having the server keep multiple backups would be nice too.
