DecafSaxGuy
This is all probably a user-end issue but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get my server accessible on the master list so I can play with friends. I just keep on getting this error System.Net.Sockets.SocketException (0x80004005): The requested address is not valid in this context at System.Net.Sockets.Socket.Bind (System.Net.EndPoint localEP) [0x0004c] in <a85c1a570f9a4f9f9c3d2cfa5504e34f>:0 at Vintagestory.Server.ServerNetManager.StartServer (System.Int32 port, System.String ipAddress) [0x0007d] in <1f3460e41e8b4f5c9909b9730ecb932a>:0 at Vintagestory.Server.TcpNetServer.Start () [0x00000] in <1f3460e41e8b4f5c9909b9730ecb932a>:0 at Vintagestory.Server.ServerMain.AfterSaveGameLoaded () [0x000f1] in <1f3460e41e8b4f5c9909b9730ecb932a>:0 at Vintagestory.Server.ServerMain.Launch () [0x001f2] in <1f3460e41e8b4f5c9909b9730ecb932a>:0 at Vintagestory.Server.ServerProgram.Main2 () [0x000e5] in <9f274c476aca4155adbb348bb301b88b>:0 at Vintagestory.ClientNative.CrashReporter.Start (System.Threading.ThreadStart start) [0x00007] in <1f3460e41e8b4f5c9909b9730ecb932a>:0 I've been at this for three days, I can't use UPnP because my ISP is dumb, I've flushed my DNS cache, I've port forwarded, I've spent hours at my terminal and staring at the serverconfig.json that the phrase "Error! User vintagestory could not start VintagestoryServer.exe!" is ingrained into the backs of my eyelids, I'm about to simply give up on playing with friends at this point.
