Phadia Haynes Posted July 22, 2023 Report Share Posted July 22, 2023 Since seeing maple trees, I am thinking it would be cool if we could tap said trees and gain maple syrup. Perhaps other syrups? Maple syrup could be used to glaze and/or cure meat, providing an additional way of preservation I was also thinking that the syrup could be used to make berry jams or honey-roasted nuts! (I'm not sure what all of the tree seeds are edible from real life, but.... it seems like a potential option, anyway!)
