Switching from "normal" version to the Net.7 one does affect savefile ?

Hello everyone, im sorry if the question have already been answered, anyway the title quite resume the situation, i wanted to know if switching game version reset the savefile i currently have or its ok ? 

Also, i wanted to know if the mods work on both version aswell

Save file should be fine. Some mods will work, but others won't.
