Well, considering they aren't good food. Incredibly short spoil times, but you're still only getting ~2 harvests a year. If they were good, they'd be crops.

Internet says the term refers to all wild meat. Any non-domesticated species, such as squirrels (no more a carnivore than chickens). Though there's a distinction of "game meat" which is something that tastes good, like venison and pheasant, versus squirrel and raccoon stew.

Well, considering it's the most boring stat imaginable, and tedious in a multiplayer game.

This is just prevented by not using gates and dirt, however.

IIRC, max room size is 14x14x14. Needs to be fully enclosed with walls/doors.

I don't see why rabbit isn't bushmeat. It's gamey.

Apparently due to the air in the lungs becoming compressed.

A mod is a labor in which you're expected to work for free. Usually they're made for one's personal enjoyment, then shared with others (or there wouldn't be a mod database). You folks say that you'd prefer something made in MS Paint in a few minutes, or a retouched stock photo, but I don't think that's coming from a place of honesty. There's no effort put into any of these, but only one of them seems to invoke a Pavlovian response. (I.e., you've trained yourself to feel ick when you see it.) It's not the lack of effort that makes the image bad. It's because you don't like AI, therefore the AI image must be bad. I think it's different when people are accepting money for things, but generated images are just programmer art of the present day. If someone's art skills are crap, society shouldn't force them to attempt art. It's a waste of everyone's time. (As a perfectionist, I spent hours on school projects, and it still looked like crap at the end. I will not inflict this on future generations.) I'm certainly not going to suggest someone implement their own bug-filled array class just because using std::vector would be lazy. You can expend great effort to produce slop, and anyone encouraging that is doing a disservice. Let the witch hunt begin.

I don't see any issue in using AI to generate images. Art quality is subjective. As long as there's nothing illegal, and it's not generating a bunch of hidden swastikas everywhere. If you're generating code, then we've got a problem. Code can be malicious. If you're publishing code that you don't understand, you're not doing the minimum to protect users. Only ask the AI for advice, then be sure you can verify what it tells you.

This is hilarious.

You say you are clockmaker, but I see no clock. Curious.

I forgot about the growth cycle changes. Considering berries spoil extremely fast, doesn't that seem like a serious issue? Especially since wild fruit trees were fixed to generate full sized? It feels like the nutrients should be returned to the soil if the berries aren't harvested. Granted it's only for planted cuttings, so it's not like they're ever going unharvested unless they're decorative. (Which mine have been, though I do harvest just so the raccoons don't damage the bushes. Maybe I'll just turn the berries into compost.)

If you'd remixed Radiance and Rust, you could call it... Rust and Relaxation. I'll see myself out.

Temporal storms are a bad implementation of a good idea.

Are you in need of a reminder of what your original argument was? You're been trying to argue that an apocalyptic event that brought down a civilization should be something you have to go and visit. I don't know if you're capable of noticing, but you've not been doing a very good job at supporting that point. It's just your opinion, it's immutable, and you're not convincing anyone through intellectual surrender. -

It looks that way if you're not engaging in rational discussion, let alone engaging on the substance of the argument. I already gave you a solar storm example, which you're ignoring because it means you're wrong. -

What definition of "global" are you applying to VS? The VS "world" isn't even more than just former Europe. You can't escape the fact that you've essentially argued that we should be able to avoid a natural disaster by just not heading towards it. All those people who die in floods each year sure seem silly right now. Just go outside and walk away from the tornado, it's not that hard. -
Maybe you should just need to fertilize if you cram too many bushes in one place.

Are you actually trying to take the position that real life storms are a thing people typically decide to show up to? Going to the rain? Nah, not today, man. -
Fat's for sealing crock pots. You certainly want to be making meals ASAP rather than wasting potential calories on cooked meat. You should probably have copper before you've harvested all the nearby berries (or termites, etc.). Like panning for copper, these are for when you've come up short, not something to aspire to. Time spent fishing is time not spent finding copper.
-
But you don't get fat or leather. Seems more like an emergency food source when you don't have better options. Even wandering nomadically, you aren't engaging with the berry replanting mechanic, nor sitting still fishing. You're grabbing berries and mushrooms as you move.

IDK, when was the last solar radiation storm? Usually the atmosphere protects us from such apocalyptic events. Hurricanes aren't global, but there's a reason you need an evacuation warning hours before they hit (even with motor vehicles). There are miles of effect that you can't just outrun. Even if we take something more narrow like a tornado (and we're calling that a "storm"), "Tornado Alley" consists of the entire central USA. If you weren't lucky enough to already be in the specific vicinity, you aren't chasing that storm before it dissipates. It's not going to be practical to find your way to a specific spot for an occasional event, and if it's always there it's not a "storm" it's a "region". It doesn't work gameplay wise, nor as conceptually defined. -

Well, they're not called "temporal volcanoes".
