ifoz Posted February 17, 2024 Report Posted February 17, 2024 (edited) As far as I know, the devs do not currently consider the game 'finished' and so only plan to consider a Steam release when it is in what they would consider a 'finished' state. As for an Android release, I see this being even less likely in the foreseeable future, as this would be a pretty tricky game to get working on a mobile device in my opinion, as well as the aforementioned reasons. I was wondering about this... and I get it is hard, but for sure is not impossible right? there are plenty of huge games on android, like Minecraft itself, or gengish impact, don't starve, etc. I am not any kind of developer but I would say it would be possible... maybe too much work and/or not worth it I guess. I would like to see it on mobile tho. Is there any way to play it on android using some other software? like a windows emulator or something, just wondering if someone has done it.

Saw someone playing that other game on his phone a couple months ago, and the graphics were underwhelming, to say the least. They would need to develop something less than Absolute Minimum, because VS is still way better. Don't Starve is an OK game in its own right, but it is no VS.
