Zarathustra
Hi all, I know there are no Biomes in the Minecraft sense, but there are these kind of Pseudodesertbiomes, where there is no grass, only trees and shrubs on sand or gravel, and I totally hate them. Such large scale deserts are extremely rare, and outside of real deserts basically unknown, so it really destroys any immersion when I spawn in a nice, green valley, maybe a small lake here and there, and then there are these huge hills, covering hundreds, maybe thousands of blocks, of only sand or gravel, and it is not even that warm of a climate. Is there ANY way to get rid of those Biomes? I sometimes spend more time creating worlds and deleting them right after because such deserts turn me off, than actually playing the game... Streetwind
IIRC those get generated where it is extremely dry, so you could try generating a world with the humidity setting notched up a step and see if it helps? That'll make finding the southern sand deserts harder too, though, since it's a global setting.
