rexaar8
Greenhouses add 5*C to the crops, my question is- does it add the temperature constantly, or only if the temperature is too low? Example: A plant overheats at 35*C. The temperature outside is 34*C, but the greenhouse adds 5*C to it, meaning that it technically is 39*C- but is it really? Should i open up the greenhouse when summer comes?
Solution LastChime Posted March 11 Solution Report Share Posted March 11 Yes they can, I typically alternate what I put in the greenhouse vs. the open field based on seed temperature tolerance, although you probably could just remove a large portion of the greenhouse roof for a similar effect.
