Put extinguished torches into a powered Nexus iirc. Type of nexus is type of Mana Torch. You might be able to make more by lighting more unlit torches on a lit Mana Torch?

I don't know if you can use extinguished torches, but you can make any Mana Torch easily by putting a Mana Stone(One Stone(any type) and one Rusty Dust) into the corresponding nexus, taking 3 essence to create one torch based on the Nexus' type(ie. Light Nexus makes Light Mana Torch).

The issue I've been running into; Made a Light Nexus and was ready to make light torches... but there is no charge on the light nexus and no way to really charge it that I have seen. Unless it absorbs essence naturally. There is no slot to place an item to charge it, like on the regular nexus. This has left me stuck, because I need light manatorches to get arcanus, but I can't get a light manatorch from the light nexus.

I'm sorry to say, this mod explains things so poorly and puts needlessly hard blocks in front of you that don't even feel like something to "figure out" but instead feels like getting smacked in the face with a stop sign.

Judging from the bits and pieces I have seen and heard on Vies' stream, the Rustbound update for 1.20 will greatly improve and expand the mod.

It wouldn't be the worst time to have a bit of a Rustbound break, if the mod frustrates too much.

The three types are charged differently.

The neutral one is fairly simple- put in any accepted Rustbound Magic item or a temporal gear in order to charge it.
The Dark Nexus can only be charged by bringing creatures other than players next to it to drain their life energy.
And a Light Nexus recharges and gains essence overtime, but only when exposed to sunlight(Meaning it only charges during the day without a roof).

I have had a few friends that tried to charge a Light Nexus indoors, and I had to show them the right way because they complained how the Light Nexus wasn't charging. It tells you in the Guidebook you can craft with a fiber and rusty dust how each nexus works and how to upgrade them- along with any rituals and world magic stuff.

Ahh, see at the time there was nothing in the guidebook about how each station was charged. Just how to build it, and the ritual needed to change the nature of it.
