jirachibaby Posted September 3, 2024 Report Posted September 3, 2024 Hiya, I've been struggling to figure out if there's a hotkey or action that lets you "craft all" when trying to make multiples of an item. For example, in another particular block game, you can craft an entire stack (or multiple stacks if you have enough items in the recipe) by ctrl or shift clicking the crafted item. I have RSI (repetitive stress injury) and really weak wrists so repetitive movements such as clicking can cause pain, so when I need to craft more than just a few of something at a time (like when I'm building), it is a problem for me. I've looked everywhere but I can't find anything in the wiki or hotkey menu or guidebook, though maybe I'm just not using the right keywords? Thank you in advance for the help.
Solution Thorfinn Posted September 3, 2024 Solution Report Posted September 3, 2024 (edited) Hold Shift down when you click on the output slot. Think you need an open inventory slot. (Or backpack slot, if, for instance, you are crafting hand baskets from reeds.) [EDIT] Oh, and welcome to the forums! Great to see so many new faces! [/EDIT] Edited September 3, 2024 by Thorfinn 3

Hey, welcome to the forum. This function does exist. It should be Shift (cannot confirm the exact button because muscle memory and completely different key bindings somewhat ruined my memory when it comes to keys). Right-mouse click on a stack selects half the stack. Keeping the left-mouse button clicked while hovering over crafting grid segments will fill those segments in equal amounts with the selected block. I'm using a left handed mouse so I'd changed the Rshift keybind, but Lshift works! I've been watching a couple youtubers and it inspired me to get the game. I love it! 19 hours ago, Brady_The said: Hey, welcome to the forum. This function does exist.
