Thornment Posted September 7, 2024 Report Posted September 7, 2024 I have a question: do I have to be in the same part of the world(chunk) as the wild hive for the bees to find the flowers? I found a hive in my world but it is quite far from my house. The hive does not detect any flowers in the area even though I planted them under the tree
Solution Streetwind Posted September 7, 2024 Solution Report Posted September 7, 2024 You can pile up some dirt and plant the flowers closer to the hive if it is really high up in a tree. Otherwise, it's a "walk away for a few days and then check again" type of deal.

It takes the bees a while to discover the planted flowers. See https://wiki.vintagestory.at/index.php/Beekeeping#Populating_an_empty_skep. 1
Thornment Posted September 7, 2024 Author Report Posted September 7, 2024 The problem was that the flowers were too far away. Thank you for your help
