Blob_M Posted January 24, 2025 Report Posted January 24, 2025 Hello New player here, i have started a game in exploration mode, so without temporal storms and passive creatures, in order to learn the basics. After hearing noise around my fort i went on top and saw a tall monster with long spikes on the back roaming around. It doesnt look like any drifter (i have killed some) or anything else i can find on the wiki and seems to run away each time it sees me. What is this thing ? Is it dangerous ?
Solution StCatharines Posted January 24, 2025 Solution Report Posted January 24, 2025 You're asking about what is called a "bowtorn". It's an enemy mob when you don't have creatures set to passive. It has a ranged attack, as well. 1 1
LadyWYT Posted January 25, 2025 Report Posted January 25, 2025 I'll also note that while it has the highest attack value of the three main monsters, it's also the slowest of the three. So you don't need to worry about it chasing you down if you decide to make a run for safety, nor it being able to escape easily if you decide to go after it.
