Damglador Posted January 28, 2025 Report Posted January 28, 2025 I don't want to hear ambient music at all, but currently the only option to disable ambient music is to set music volume to 0, but with music volume set to 0 I can't hear music from resonator, and that sucks. 4
Lodeclaw Posted January 28, 2025 Report Posted January 28, 2025 I agree. Also I'd like to be able to hear the lore location music without having to enable ambient music generally. 3
MigratedSpy Posted January 31, 2025 Report Posted January 31, 2025 If i'm not mistaken, you can slide the music frequency down to zero, and keep music on to listen. not sure if this helped but yeah you can find it in audio settings in the options menu, there should be two bars that you can slide at the bottom?
Damglador Posted January 31, 2025 Author Report Posted January 31, 2025 It still plays music, just less frequent
Thorfinn Posted January 31, 2025 Report Posted January 31, 2025 (edited) Just use something like foobar2000 to set a replaygain tag on everything in the music directory. I think the directory is .\assets\survival\music. Alternatively you could probably replace the music with ogg versions of whatever music you like to listen to while playing. [EDIT] I wouldn't swear that would work. I have not tried it, because I kind of like the music. I have no idea whether tags are supported in VS' player, though I suspect they are. Again, haven't looked, but that's probably how @ApacheTech works his magic in Accessibility Tweaks mod. That's another possibility -- he might have included music in things you can set gains on. Barring that, you could always use something like Audacity or Reaper to turn the volume all the way down. Edited January 31, 2025 by Thorfinn
