Hokumpoke Posted February 1, 2025 Report Posted February 1, 2025 I was very excited to find my first lorebook, but it doesn't seem to be working correctly. It's specifically an orange aged lore book, not a rotten one. No matter how many times I right click while holding it my journal still says it's empty. I'm really not sure what I could be doing wrong. I'm playing with mods but nothing that should impact world generation or ruins or anything.
Katukkse_jeff Posted February 18, 2025 Report Posted February 18, 2025 Got the same book, i think it's non-readable from what i have read on other sites. It has to have a name of an author or a story name if you hover your mouse over it, what this one doesn't have. 1

Gabusmaximus Posted February 19 Report Posted February 19 Are they placeholders for the future or why are they in the game like that?
ifoz Posted February 19 Report Posted February 19 (edited) If it's the orange lore book found inside the display case of a certain ruin, it's bugged. Lore books normally have attached lore tags that tell them which stories they can contain, and these usually get applied when the book is generated inside a container. However since the display case doesn't count as a normal container (like a chest), the book inside gets no lore tags and so can't be read. Edited February 19 by ifoz
