Rosey_Reverie Posted February 11, 2025 Report Posted February 11, 2025 Hello, I've recently gotten the game, and each time I try to play any version above v1.17.12, it says that I need .NET Desktop Runtime 7.0.20. However, pressing yes doesn't do anything, and even though I downloaded it manually, it still doesn't run. I'm out of ideas on how to fix this, so I thought I'd ask if anyone here knows.

Rosey_Reverie Posted February 11, 2025 Author Report Posted February 11, 2025 (edited) I think that's what I'm doing it seems most people just need to download and launch the game but that's not working for me First, I downloaded the game, but an error popped up. After that, I followed the link below to the .net install, but it still didn't launch. Should I do it in a different order, or can the network connection affect it? Solution Thorfinn Posted February 11, 2025 Solution Report Posted February 11, 2025 I don't have a machine that does not have VS on it, so I don't know how that operates. What I would suggest is going to the Client Area (on the taskbar above), and right below the Download the game links is a download .NET7 link. Click in it and save it somewhere. Then double-click on that file to go through the .NET7 install. After that finishes, without errors, try the VS install again. 1
