No Drifter at all in my map

The creatures are allowed, but somehow I never see any drifters in my map? Even if the peaceful days are finished.

Can someone help me?

wait a few in game days for one, or try to brave the deep dark underworld caves.

They are not daytime creatures. You need nearby rifts after late evening. Or caves anytime.

Things might have been adjusted down, too, because of all the new players. Seems the first month has an inordinate number of Calm nights.
