Hello,

It's been a long times since I've used Hamachi so I don't think I'll be of any help with it. But I do want to suggest you look if hamachi is allowed in your firewall.

ok so i looked for it in the firewall settings and i didnt find it so i added it to both incoming and outgoing but it still is giveing me the same ip when i start up vintage story

Who hosts the the server and did you make sure since he factory reset hamachi was set back up correctly. I dont think the issue is on your part if the only variable to change is that your cousin factory reset but you were always hosting the lan.

yeah i have been the one hosting the server but before he reset it gave me a diffrent ip for hime to connect to and the only time it gave me the current ip is when i was offline on my hamatchi and i have checked and doubble checked that im online. we have even gone as far as to delet the hamatchi network and start a new one

Sorry i'm not familiar with hosting Lan too well and I haven't used hamachi in awhile but you always used the hamachi ip and not the ip provided by the lan server?

Lan server over a virtual network like hamachi can just be janky and break but your cousin should also make sure hamachi can get through his firewall. If this doesn't work you might explore other virtual networks.
