some sort of book you can write in?

Does anyone know of a mod that adds some sort of book, like the clipboard from the Create mod in minecraft, allowing you to write objectives in it? My problem is that i very often get distracted while doing something, then get distracted again while doing this other thing etc... and at the end of the day after a few hours i have made very little progress because i keep changing objectives, so having somewhere to write what i have to/want to do would help. of course i can just write on some paper or my phone but that breaks the immersion

in vanilla (if you have yet to look it up already) you can make a book that can be written in.

looking up the requirements, gonna need leather, parchment, ink, feathers. 

not a fast process if none of those things have yet been made...

Then there is the ability to write on signs.  a few planks, stick and charcoal

bit easier once a saw has been made to allow making planks

Can't speak to mods that might shorten the cycle...

On the mod side I know of https://mods.vintagestory.at/pomnotes. I haven't used it yet, though, so I don't know how well it runs. The book writing is certainly a little more immersive.
