Andre Oberländer Posted May 24, 2025 Report Posted May 24, 2025 If Peta sees your pigpen you get big problems with animal right laws i asume. i bet they stand kneedeep in at least you have some meat in storage 2

I didn't know that PETA also looks out for pigs. What we have here in the Philippines is PAWS and it only looks out for cats and dogs (far as I know). Anyway, I better do something about my pigpen. Honestly, I do indeed face difficulties on how to manage my pigpen and chickencoop. I'd better start watching clips on tips in animal husbandry .
jola Posted May 25, 2025 Author Report Posted May 25, 2025 What am I supposed to do with too much harvest? Not to include in my screenshot the berries I harvested and most of them are beginning to rot! 1
Andre Oberländer Posted May 25, 2025 Report Posted May 25, 2025 (edited) well easy answer lets it rot in spring you can make compost and than tera petra out of it. Or donate the leftover food partly spoiled for a drifter charity foundation. Edited May 25, 2025 by Andre Oberländer 1

I'll do just that instead of spending too much time cooking. But I hate drifters; they're a big nuisance so they won't get any share from leftovers .
jola Posted May 25, 2025 Author Report Posted May 25, 2025 (edited) I am never a creative builder in Vintage Story (same goes with Minecraft). I just try to survive. Enjoy the challenges and drink a bottle or two of beer . Edited May 25, 2025 by jola 2

I can already smell the aroma.
Maelstrom Posted May 27, 2025 Report Posted May 27, 2025 I believe there a couple of mods that increase cooking options which include smokers and I believe grills. 2

Incidentally, I just play games "pure vanilla". I was hoping for that in times of quandary, I could rely on the Wiki. Unfortunately, the Wiki does not provide much. So, I guess, I'd rely on others' tips on how to go about with the game pure vanilla. I have a long way to go learning Vintage Story but the main thing is that I enjoy it. But thanks for your insight about mods.
Maelstrom Posted June 11, 2025 Report Posted June 11, 2025 The wiki is dependent upon volunteers, so the information is likely incomplete and/or out of date. The handbook is your best source of information. 1

Well, it's a learning process, at least.

Yes, indeed it is, and I am enjoying every bit of the game in spite of frustrations and disappointments encountered along the way as I go through the adventure. It only hardens my resolve to get through with all my leftover gaming skills from my younger days. 1
