  1. i always draw my pictures 1x1 so 1 checkered tile is 1/16 of a block. you can easy count 8cm x8cm is 1 block you chisel. You see the small Cross in the middle? its the center arround 4 blocks.
  2. Second example i saw a Bee drawed by a child at the Street i made a Picture with my Phone than i made a drawing at a piece of paper: Endresult is this Sign below.
  3. Well unfortnatly i am not very talented with making Videos but i can give all Player the advise to find a real life Image you like and try to make it. For better preparation drawing a scheme on a checkerboard paper often helps. Plan than materials and start making the almost unchiseled house. Add decoration than later. for example my Warehouse was this picture: the Middle Building with the white stripes. For comparison here the partly finished version from myself: Its not 1 to 1 copied but an idea for making somethink. Im not that good in making the exact copy of somethink and in some points its not possible (or you need to make it bigger but than its damn to much work) and i can really recommend the Workbench mod played long without it but copying the same over and over is pretty tidious. Unfortnatly i dont have the Paper drawing anymore but it wasnt very detailed.
  4. Heyho in the past i postet my Hallway to the Smithy it pretty much done. Because i like the Band Powerwolf i made their Logo at the walls.
  5. Here an Update: I worked at my new Underground Forge Area: Progress so far: Pillars are 3/4 done with 15 copper block used for small leaves: (180 bars) The Floor is done with plates and smelting area is functional with 63 Ingotmolds Because someone sayed on Discord a Fried of her died i chiseled a Grave and put it under a 2x2 thick Oak Tree And I made a plattform above the Treefarm.
  6. Well you start with nothing so like all sayed you need an area in that you find: Clay, Reeds, Logs and maybe a small hill than you can easy make a tent shape next to a mountain and prepare day one raw molds. the terrain isnt very important you can Terraform it later.
  7. Heyho working at my new forge / smelting area. As you can see it isnt finished but at least i made some windows Second picture is my sheeppen from above i made the water 2 blocks deep
  8. I made a small Video and uploaded it on Youtube Sheeppen is done the workrooms at the 3 angles arent. 1 is partly done (floor is missing.
  9. Well me as a Chiselheavy Player really like the idea of a chiselmold. Its not that important i know but maybe easy to implement. Why i want it? well iron has 2000 dura and steel 6000. Iron you wont use lategame because is potential steel and steel you think nah its a waste because you dont have so much steel because takes ages to make. And bronce you think i need to smith that silly thinks for 1000 dura. i have a perfect measurement for 21 bronce bars and would be very nice if i could make 21 molds to safe me some time ^^# weird Suggestion i know.
  10. I played at the new Jear again a bit Vintage Story: I must say i need to make much work only for finishing old projects (if i dont start a new one again.) But i have some picture for you: I realized the new barn i chiseled is way to small so i decided to set up an underground barn. I even connected the Pen to my House with a Underground path. The Arcs arent finished jet because they are monocolour and the sheeppen is lets say only functional atm. The Sheeppen / barn from last past is finshed with a roof now i will probably put it sometheres else in the future. i am not that happy with the result but its okey i guess.
  11. So heres an Update: First Picture is my very old windmill. I didnt finished it for a long time i made a small field with medium Soil for my Food. And because the Mill wasnt fast enough i made 4 more rotors underground. 4 and 5 Picture are Warehouse ceiling and floor. The Six Picture is a small barn work in progress.
  12. made some work since last post: First i made new floor design out of andesite, chalk and sandstone blocks than i made some progress in second floor
  13. which block you used for the green and bronce look? was probably creative i guess? but nice work i must say!
  14. I was a bit lazy and played other games. This year i chiseled a bit more. in the second floor of the building i made a furnace with 6 crock pot places and a place to horde mass produced Food. Very important because i play with 30 days per month since last winter. in front of the door i wrote Odin in Runes above it the spear Gungnir that never misses its mark. Very nice if you Hunt rabbit i would say
  15. Hiho heres an Update: Because i play with 30 days per Month i am happy that it is March and is getting warmer Because of the actual Bear update i have made a Vegvisir (crossshaped) for safe Travels at the front of my smithy. Because i dont have a good storage Building yet i started one next to the smithy. Runes are for Tyr. I think about making a Odin in middle. Unfortnatly i use atm expensive materials so i need to farm them: Plaster is the white stuff so i need to check if my marble vein has some stone for me
  16. Hiho small Update i remind you you can chisel glas now. this is a Window out of Quartzglas, Clayblocks, Birch and Pineplanks. I would recomend using quartzglas because Glas atm get invisible if chisel it... ^^
  17. Hiho. I have atm with the game the following problem or let say desire: I love to chisel. But the cost to make some small stuff out of metal is really expensive atm. You pay 12 Bars that you smith into a plates and get 1 solid block out of it. My solution (unless theres another cheaper like clay based approach that you pay 1 bar and get 20 dots to chisel probably hard to code) would be that the game had Metalslab out of 3 Plates. I would half the cost of an chiseled Art. for example: this Tree costed me: 48 bars of silver i am not sure anymore 60 bars of copper the leaves at the left are another 12 bars of bronces.
  18. maybe make if you cook meat over a campfire that you can roast into a second time so its a bit burned but last like burned bread a bit longer. Its not a solution that would be too overpowered. As disadvantage it can loose 20% Nutrition. the smoking house stuff is maybe somethink for a later patch because more complex.
  19. i really like the Stairs. I might build some of them in my own buildings. Thanks for sharing.
  20. Hiho heres an small update: I reshaped the floor and made a ceiling i want to share:
  21. it looks like a giant animal with legs. A nice spot for mountainbase Of course it would take ages but would be a very nice looking base spot
  22. So an Update: about 1/3 third of all Fence i chiseled. Atm i can make a copy in about 20 Minutes. Because i got bored i found another nice ways to torture myself. I made a picture from the partly chiseled bridge. i made 2 pieces of furnitures and a floor in my smithy. I post a picture of a Mosaic i had after i finished all of the Blocks i filled up some spaces so its not so easy to see the blocks ^^
  23. Thanks for your kind words. I made myself about 40 Hour work (at least). i have a almost 200 Block long bridge. Now i thought normal fences arent that beautiful. Now i made a new fence out of Birchslab, Walnutslab. i need to copy it only 47 times The smelting room i decorated a while ago with a cross ^^ and smoothed Andesite.
  24. Heres an update: the tunnel (the straight part) is almost done only a few chalk slabs are missing. every lamp is a copperlead lantern with silver inlay for maximum lightlevel. Behind the Main Building of the Smithy i made a Small Building for smelting ores. it isnt finished but i can work in it if i need to. For a better overview i made one picture from the small hill behind the smithy.
