Character customization resetting to random skin after a few seconds for anyone who joins my server!

Title is pretty self explanatory, anyone joining the server can customize their starting character but if they sit for maybe 5 seconds too long it will reset back. Was wondering if anyone has had some experience with this or knows a fix. I was thinking it could be a mod issue, so here is our modlist:

Welcome to the forums! My first thought is that it's probably a mod issue, since I've not really seen anyone reporting that kind of issue with vanilla. However, there's nothing on you list there that really looks suspect. Have you tested this list in single player to see if you can reproduce the issue? If you can reproduce it in singleplayer, then it's just a matter of turning off all the mods and adding them back in one by one, testing as you go, to see which one causes the issue.

Perhaps a bit of necroposting, but to post my solution to keep anyone else from suffering as long as I did: The issue for me was Rustbound Magic. Removing that mod fixed the character reset bug.

I do not know WHY Rustbound magic was causing characters to reset on character creation in multiplayer, but it was. I couldn't find any logs that were triggering the issue, so if someone wants to look into this they'll have to do it mostly from scratch.
