screenshot TIL how unforgiving the fire spread system can be

Just lost at least 30 trunks of stuff in the attic (basically everything from a 3 ingame year playthrough except ore which was stored somewhere else) due to a slightly misplaced cursor lighting the counter on fire instead of the cooking pot. Couldn't put it out so my programming of indestructible terraria chests and fireproof minecraft chests told me to just wait and replace the floor. Until every single shelf, barrel, trunk, etc in the house broke and dropped all my stuff to the ground. Was only able to make 4 trunks and store that much before my whole playthrough worth of stuff despawned. Lesson learned but considering how harsh I was punished I'm probably never gonna play on a server with fire spread again.

Good gosh. Well, I guess I'm taking this as a sign to keep my future storage properly protected from fire. Sorry your loss of 3 ingame years worth of stuff!

Either be exceedingly and excruciatingly careful if your firepit is next to wood (there's a reason why fireplaces have inflammable hearths IRL), or use stone for the block next to your firepit.

Your message to me was completely unfair as what I said wasn't even to you
I can see why it can be seen that way and I forgive the frustration there but at the same time it's never okay to tell someone to kill themselves.
I was telling a friend nearby why I couldn't use voip right now (my 2 year old was upset from his nap) and you took it as a personal slight and told me to commit suicide.
Thankfully I'm a grown man and can handle it, but my best friend of 14 years took her life in May because the world was just too much for them, and you never know when what you say can have a huge impact on some peoples whole life.
Have some maturity, accountability, take the L and move on, don't lash out at strangers on the internet.

Oh wow, that was incredibly bad timing. I would have read those lines of yours as aimed at me if I came in with a complaint at that's all I saw, but you were talking about a literal baby. I'd like to think I wouldn't have immediately logged off, but I'm sure MBAP was incredibly frustrated at the time.
