joran nijgh Posted November 4, 2025 Report Posted November 4, 2025 (edited) Me and my friend were sailing in A boat with our elks and suddenly TP'd by left clicking on A waypoint (didnt know that was A thing), we tp'd with our elks and boat but when we tp'd again our elks were gone out of the boat but were visible on the map, directly on the waypoint we tp'd to but couldnt see or hear them. We tried: the whistle, nothing restarting the game and server, nothing going in creative and no-clip to search underground, nothing anything else we could try to save our beloved elks? Teh Pizza Lady Posted November 5, 2025 Report Posted November 5, 2025 They should respond to the bone flute. Did you put the medallion on their heads? Also I've never known that left-clicking on a waypoint teleports you. Are you playing with mods?

Are you playing with mods? To my knowledge, this isn't a vanilla thing. There's almost certainly a mod allowing for that function. The elks should teleport to you if they are within range to hear it but don't have a clear path, but that's only if the elk is equipped with an ownership medallion. If no medallion, you're out of luck regarding the bone flute. Aside from that, try searching the very bottom of the world at the markers, and not just under the surface layer of blocks. You might also try checking surrounding shoreline(if it was in a body of water), or backtrack along your travel route to see if it's a possible desync issue. If you still can't find your elks, the only other thing I can think of to do is just...spawn in a couple more, or try deleting the sailboat in case that's messed something up and spawning in a new one. The main problem here though is that if the elks were equipped with medallions and still exist somewhere, there's no way to claim new elks unless the old ones get removed somehow.
