Danny97 Posted November 27, 2025 Report Posted November 27, 2025 I'm doing the archives on a new 40h world WITH NO MODS and i can't progress because i need to get the big gear from the bell workshop on the first floor to get the generators to full power but the path is completely blocked off by andesite stone which cannot be broken because of the whole "higher power" thing they got going on down here. What am i meant to do now? Do i just change the gamemode to creative and punch through? It's going to ruin my immersion but if that's what it takes i'll do it.
Teh Pizza Lady Posted November 27, 2025 Report Posted November 27, 2025 You should be able to crouch and walk over the piles of rubble to the left.

Completely blocked off,no way forward. PS: I just punched through with creative mode, the whole tunnel was like that but i did make it to the other side. Still sucks that i had to do it. Teh Pizza Lady Posted November 27, 2025 Report Posted November 27, 2025 that is.. . weird. I have never seen anything like that before. 1
LadyWYT Posted November 27, 2025 Report Posted November 27, 2025 Yeah, that's not how it's supposed to look. If you're not using mods at all, we can rule out mod interference as the issue. The easiest fix is to pop into creative and cut a path through before popping back to survival. However, I would also go report this to the devs on the bug tracker, in case it's a broken world seed or some other issue. 1

The seed itself is pretty normal aside from this and the fact 9/10 traders are a treasure hunter. Edited November 27, 2025 by Danny97
LadyWYT Posted November 27, 2025 Report Posted November 27, 2025 Just now, Danny97 said: The seed itself is pretty normal aside from this and the fact 9/10 traders is a treasure hunter. Right, but it's not unheard of for the generation of certain ruins or story locations to get screwed up, hence why I suggest reporting it on the bug tracker. Sometimes it's a broken world seed, sometimes it's a bit of code governing a particular structure gone awry; hard to say for certain.
