The Watcher Posted December 31, 2025 Report Posted December 31, 2025 So ive recently just got the game, and my girlfriend will be getting it soon also, does the multiplayer work like bedrock minecraft where you can just have the world be online and people can join, or is it more similar to java minecraft where you need to make a server or have the essentials mod to be able to play online? Looking for some advice to make it an easier time when playing with her. thank you.

I'm guessing the LAN option is what you'll most likely be interested in, but personally I would lean more towards a dedicated server if you're able to go that route. The latter reduces the workload of the machines you actually play the game on, and is probably also the better option if you have other friends that may want to join the game later.
