You awaken once again... In the Lands of Gresh!

Lands of Gresh, or LOG is a large scale community project server. The core focus of the server is rebuilding large scale construction projects via donating the required materials for the active project at the time. Once the goal is met a community vote via Discord is taken for the next project from the available list. Each project will shape and alter the world around you, going so far as to change actual config file settings, from hunger loss rate changes, or colored world maps, to more traders and admin sponsored shops to fuel the thriving economy.

There is a deep community forming system, where you must assign members of the community to specific roles and positions, and your community must hold a certain standing in order to rank up to the next tier, growing as large as a capital city! These perks come in the form of more land dominance, and control, to more resources, or voting power for future laws and server projects!

We sport many of the tried and true mods you have come to love like Primitive survival, Stone Bake ovens, Expanded Food (when its up to date), Millwright, and many MANY more. But we also have a vast collection of smaller mods you may have not played with, giving you a new and unique playstyle!

Era limitation! That's right, the server is limited to what era they can be in, and what metals they have access to create and craft with! This allows for a slow and steady progression that many may not be desiring for, but many others were. Life gets busy, sometimes you cant login till the weekend, and when you do isnt it annoying that you logged out and people were looking for copper or tin-bronze materials, and now half the server has steel!? Well that wont happen here, progress is VERY slow, with steel likely going to take up to 6 irl months to obtain, or even longer depending on player activity, project completion rate, and many other variables.

Our community is small, with the goal of reaching about the 500ish player area, but there's no hard recruiting or quotas to meet, we want people to come and join to have a good time!

Dedicated discord server, with many useful tools and information channels so if you ever feel lost there's help! The discord is where most of our community interaction will take place, we do encourage RP, but it is a soft encouragement, this way you can get off work, or come home from school and not have to talk or chat to get things done, you can just play!

I know you’ve probably heard this a million times by now, my fellow server hoppers but this time, I truly believe I’ve found the one. Lands of Gresh is by far the best server I’ve experienced so far.

It features incredibly unique rules centered around progression and player interaction. You advance age by age, from stone to steel, forging your path through a variety of community projects that unlock new and exciting content in the admin run starter town. What begins as a humble tent slowly transforms through the blood and sweat of the community, and the incredible dedication of the owner and admins into a city you can truly be proud of.

By contributing to the city’s growth, you earn community tokens (an in-game currency) that can be spent on various items, including smithing licenses.

Smithing licenses? Yes! Only licensed smiths may produce metal items above copper. This rule alone is a dream come true for anyone who loves standing at the forge, listening to the clang of hammer on anvil. Tool smithing makes production more detailed and meaningful, showcasing the true quality of your tools. Become your town’s local smith, open your own shop using Vinconomy, and build a reputation.

Not into smithing? No problem. Choose from many other classes, each with unique bonuses and recipes. Want to brew potions and salves? Start your own alchemy empire. Prefer the peaceful life, surrounded by soft midsummer grass? Homesteading might be your calling. Every role has value, and every player matters. Forge friendships with fellow survivors and go on to found your own towns and cities.

The laid-back atmosphere on the server is simply fantastic. Everyone is friendly and helpful especially the owner, Noraboo. The amount of effort, care, and planning poured into this server shines like a beacon in the dark.
