depends on your crop and your temperature, it will just raise the temperature as is so if e.g the temperature outside is 25C and you plant turnips in a greenhouse the temperature will be 30C, so they will take damage from heat

It can, all you need to do is punch out one of the roof panels till it starts to cool down and it'llbe ok as long as you get it befor eit gets too hot in there
