Why can't we do it ourselves? Most if not all forums have this feature. Sometimes you want to delete old posts or maybe a post you did by mistake instead of doing an edit and leaving it there... is there a reason why this isn't an option? I want it so I could delete some old comments on my forums that about it really.

It should be an option. I just checked my posts, both new and old, and the option to delete the post is there, right under the Edit option. Maybe consider submitting a support ticket? It's likely an account-related issue. 1
