CanonicalChaos Posted March 18 Report Posted March 18 So I have a multiplayer server up, and I finally decided to transfer all its data over into a dedicated server folder. I followed the instructions on the wiki and for some reason the person currently trying to join keeps getting this error no matter what. I have no issue connecting myself since its hosted off of my PC. This was not an issue until I transferred it into the folder. Any clue how I can fix this without just starting a new world? We've just gotten past the copper age and I do NOT want to have to restart.
CanonicalChaos Posted March 18 Author Report Posted March 18 OKAY WAIT SO I MIGHT BE DUMB. I think I just forgot to do the /serverconfig upnp 0... we'll see if that fixes it.

Zane Mordien Posted March 19 Report Posted March 19 They could connect before? What do you mean you transferred it into a folder?
Trevinator Posted April 6 Report Posted April 6 any fix for this? i get it when trying to connect to my friend, and he gets it when trying to connect to me. he was also only able to connect to me once and even then only for a couple minutes before he crashed out.
Zane Mordien Posted April 6 Report Posted April 6 There is a fix most likely but it's hard to troubleshoot from a post. The generic answer is that it is a port forwarding issue, but if they could connect before then it should still be possible. Check the server log to see what it says and use an external website to ping the port to make sure it is open.
