i tried checking the port to see if it was open from a website, but it shows that ALL the ports were closed. anyways, it just decided to work today somehow......

same issue im having. no ports at all show as open using a port checking website, but this is the only game i have an issue with, besides wreckfest. i have tried everything. EDIT: somehow, today the game is working for me and my friend. last night, nothing would work.

the error message in the original post is what me and my friend get when trying to connect to each others game. he was able to connect to me once, and then he crashed out and was never able to get back. have tried everything with no luck.

this is the issue im having with my friend as well. i tried opening port 42420, got nothing. tried disabling my firewall while he tried, nothing. it just keeps telling my friend that i did not respond. im on spectrum if it helps anyone help me figure this out.

i even tried turning the firewall completely off to test and still wouldnt work.

any fix for this? i get it when trying to connect to my friend, and he gets it when trying to connect to me. he was also only able to connect to me once and even then only for a couple minutes before he crashed out.

my friend was able to join me exactly one time, and then his game crashed and he has not been able to reconnect, saying i did not respond or something along those lines. same thing happens when i try to connect to his game. i even allowed an exception for the exe file of the game and even tried turning my firewall completely off and he still could not join. this should not be this hard to play together! i also tried opening port 42420 as well, did nothing. what am i doing wrong??? why is this game so difficult to join each other?
