Please consider adding the ability to use custom translations directly in the game.

I believe that the current translation into my language does not meet the expected quality standards.

I care about how language is presented, especially for younger players, as it influences their development.

Ukrainian is a rich and expressive language, and I believe the translation could better reflect that.
It would also be beneficial to allow more than one person to participate in translation approval, to ensure balance and quality.

This would give players more control over their experience.

Some players may prefer a more natural and expressive translation, while others may prefer a more literal and technical one.

Allowing custom translations would let each player choose what feels clearer and more comfortable to read.

This can improve immersion and make the game more enjoyable, especially for those who care about language quality.

Every language has its own unique vocabulary and expressions, which can often convey meaning more naturally than a direct, word-for-word translation.

It does not replace existing translations, but simply gives players an additional option.

Please consider adding an option in the game settings to specify a custom translation file or directory.
This would allow players to use their own translations independently from the official ones.

Supporting a directory would be especially useful for modded gameplay, as it would allow custom translations for multiple mods to be loaded automatically, without replacing official files.

Such a feature could reduce conflicts within the translation community, since contributors with different approaches (for example, more literal vs. more natural translations) would not need to compete over a single official version.

At the same time, it would not interfere with the official localization process, which can continue as usual.

This would give players more flexibility and encourage community-driven translations, while keeping the official versions stable and consistent.

Personally, I would like to create a custom translation for my family and friends, focusing on natural and expressive language.

What do you think about this idea? Would something like this be feasible to implement?

According to this comment, it looks like there's already a way for users to work on translations:
