Wellokthen Posted April 14 Report Posted April 14 I decided to get serious about doing a long term survival world, heres the first house (VS is a step up from Minecraft building in a lot of ways, this took a while to build). Ive also decided to get serious about not being a lurker in the discord or the forums and I figure these two things go hand-in-hand. I have some ideas for horizontal expansion such as a forge yard, a leatherworking shed, or a kitchen, but suggestions are welcome. 11
C_Man Posted April 14 Report Posted April 14 Looks fairly well-made for a house that has been done without any metal tools.
Stefano Colla Posted April 14 Report Posted April 14 Looks like the start of a very cozy village! Great work on that starter house!
Nick Salt Posted May 5 Report Posted May 5 Looks great! I'm a big fan of thatched roofs! Were you thinking of an outside forge with a roof? I built one that way in my current playthrough, but quickly had to add a walled courtyard so the bowtorns and drifters couldn't sneak up on me while I was on the tools. It's nice having a big safe outdoor zone right outside your house.
Farmore Posted May 6 Report Posted May 6 Big fan of this style, I've made stuff like this in my world and it's always so cozy. I like the depth you added though, I'm going to consider that for my own builds... What stone is that by the way?
