It has ~30 mods that doesn't affect gameplay much and are more about adding content without straying too far from base game. Server can run 24/7, though it might go offline if no one PLANS on playing between 2100 - 0800 (EST) to prevent server issues. Discord is required so you may stay updated with the rest of us. I'll tell you from experience... if there's any barrier to entry, no one's going to join, dawg. My advice would be to post the Discord link and whitelist the server. Most players you'll get are going to be harmless. Otherwise, you'll be lucky to get double digits. Up to you. I wish you the best.
