QuinnCrafting Posted 22 hours ago Report Posted 22 hours ago I have a great spot for a hostpring build in the mountains by a lake but am struggling to figure out what I actually want to build. I want something that actively incorporates the hot springs (I've already downloaded the healthy springs mod so it has a purpose) but don't think the typical Japanese compound idea fits with the hilly area and general biome. Next I was thinking a Nordic sauna type thing, but all the inspo I can find is very modern touristy and also very much does not look like the colorful part of the spring I like. Maybe a longhouse or cabin with a fishing-esque overhang? Maybe a combined armory space, since it will function as a health booster? I could do a castle-ish thing for that wing, but I'm not convinced on how it would look since it would kind of keep me from going for the full wooden lodge vibe. Any other ideas ya'll could float by me? I'm really struggling lol

Perhaps build something in the hill to the left of the spring to live in (or just visit like a vacation spot) and keep the spot lightly built on... pastures and more of a shrine by the spring... like the pool at Hearst Castle but reduced a bit.
